A crop is a gathering of scrapbookers and crafters who work in a social circle on books, cards or other projects. Bethel’s FUNdraiser crops are held about 6-8 times a year in the Bethel Family Life Center. Anyone is welcome to attend and work on any type of project. Participants bring their own projects. Several scrapbook or make cards. Others knit, crochet or do beadwork. Some paint, or sort papers and pictures or design projects digitally on laptops. Free WiFi is available, and a large table is provided per person. There is plenty of space, good lighting, rolling carts for hauling and a wheelchair ramp for accessibility.
The event runs from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, for a suggested donation of $50 for the entire weekend or $20 for one day.
