Fun & Games

Watch for fellowship events like dominoes, euchre, board game nights, movie nights, and plays.

FUNdraiser Crops

A crop is a gathering of scrapbookers and crafters who work in a social circle on books, cards or other projects. Bethel’s FUNdraiser crops are held about 6-8 times a year in the Bethel Family Life Center. Anyone is welcome to attend and work on any type of project. Participants bring their own projects. Several scrapbook or make cards. Others knit, crochet or do beadwork. Some paint, or sort papers and pictures or design projects digitally on laptops. Free WiFi is available, and a large table is provided per person. There is plenty of space, good lighting, rolling carts for hauling and a wheelchair ramp for accessibility.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, for a suggested donation of $50 for the entire weekend or $20 for one day. Participants may leave projects and come and go throughout the weekend. Would you like to join a crop? Contact Anita Sanders through the Bethel office at 317-293-1133 or via our online form [link] for more information or to register.

Reconciling Ministries

Reconciling Ministries is a movement within The United Methodist Church to advance justice and inclusion for LGBTQ people in the church and beyond. The Reconciling Ministries Network equips and mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to stand up to injustice and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves, per the United Methodist baptismal vows.

Bethel’s Reconciling group celebrates diversity and values the wholeness made possible in community. We work to transform hearts, churches and communities for a reconciled Church.

We meet the first Monday of every other month at the Panera Bread restaurant at 6050 W. 86th Street. Please join us! And invite friends and family.
